First Encounter with Oreo
It was one of the pleasant days of 2019 when I first encountered him(my pet) in my house and my life changed completely since then. On 23rd December, my eldest sister bought a Persian cat with her. That small creature was sitting inside a basket. The moment I slide the lid, a cute face with a tiny body of gray and white color emerged in front of me and I shouted instantly ‘We will name him Oreo, and it’s decided’
All About Oreo
At first, Oreo seemed to confuse and frightened but, in a few hours, he mingled with us as he knows us for years that was very surprising. From that day, little by little we came to know him. Oreo was a very peculiar cat of his types. He is an introvert, who doesn’t like to get touched by strangers, even he hid instantly when encountered some guests. Oreo likes plants to the extent that he sleeps inside the pot and loves to smell flowers of different kinds.
He follows bugs all over the house and loves to play with bottle caps. Oreo is very sensitive to his surroundings and the people. He does not like loud noises all along the way and gets afraid easily on hearing some. At last, his favorite food is chicken. However, he loves to eat sweet things except for chocolate.
A Caring Partner
One day, I was working on my laptop for hours on an important project without eating anything. And, he started gaining my attention by licking my foot or chewing my laptop screen. At the time, when he noticed that I am very busy and not even budging, he came and sat on my laptop keypad while meowing. Ah! so cute, I was amazed at first and then I embraced him tightly in my arms and kissed him on the forehead. Although, he made me eat food afterward.
The Attachment Was Out Of Option Before!
At first, I was hesitant to be attached to him as I thought oreo will leave me once I got close to him, but I was wrong. He stayed there in the time of ups and downs to liven up my mood from scratch. He helped me in losing my tensions and workload. I never thought for once that a pet will become so important to me where I never assumed a day to live without him and with his heart-melted face.
His yellow big eyes and a tiny figure, lingering around the house from here and there filled my heart with pure happiness. All along the way, he made me a better person. I have become kind and patient since the day I devoted my heart to this adorable creature of four feet!
Conclusion
All animals are precious, and they don’t want anything but love and kindness. This world is already a cruel place and abandoning your precious pet on a street that leads to nowhere is the worst action of all. So, don’t keep a pet with a plan of leaving him behind someday. They have feelings too!
